Default NEW TUNES

This is the SUB BOX I built and installed in my 95 RAM.
Also installed K69 (6x9's) in the doors, R19 Tweeters in the "A" posts, and R5C's (Mids) in the rear corners. I used a Clarion Head unit. Needless to say it cranks and sounds sick!

thats awesome..but why did you go with kicker? was it a money issue or just what you wanted. i had heard that kicker was essentially the k-mart of subs, but correct me if im wrong..

i have a stealth box with two 10 inch JL subs under my rear seat and a 12 inch JL sub steathbox that replaced my front center seat with infinity perfect series in the doors and 3 amps powering it all. i went all out though and it put me in a hole moneywise...it was worth it though cus you can hear me coming a couple hundred feet away if i want you too :-)

Thanks....................

I thought KICKER was an ok brand that's why I went with a complete KICKER system.
Cash is/was not an issue, I could have afforded to do any system I wanted.

I have had KICKER subs in the past and never had any problems................

The customer service is outstanding at KICKER and they spent alot of time via phone and e-mail helping me design the box and set up the components. That is a big part of any product, and when a company stands behind there stuff that's enough for me.

I spent roughly $1,500.00 including all shipping, 0ga, 4ga, 8ga, fuse blocks all needed accesorys,
box materials (Carpet/Wood/Glue), and cascade sound insulation.

I'm not so sure I could have installed a better sounding system for the money?
You can not crank it all the way up as it is now.

It sounds great and I'm sure it would give yours a run for it's money................He He He.......

hey if you are ever in the so cal area we will have to test your theory about it giving mine a run for the money, lol

i have been debating taking the amps out from under the front driver and passenger seats and putting in a sub under each but that would make me have to put the amps in a custom box in the floor in the back which would basically make the back seat not usable ever cus you can't exactly walk on the amps. so ive been back and forth on whether or not to do it over the past week or so, i probably won't because i enjoy the fact my bass hits really clean and if i load it up it might end up all bass and i always hated that with people's cars...

Sabbat,

How would you have room for a box under the seats?

I had enough trouble getting 1.25 cu. ft. behind the seat with the amps.
I wanted to build ported boxes but I had no place to mount the amps, they would not have fit under my seats and I did not want to mount them in the bed. The fun of having a standard cab.............

As far as South Cali, not gonna happen any time soon..........LOL I'm on the other ocean....LOL.....It's all good and nice to heckel all in good fun.

Later Bro

Thanks Vader for the kind comment!

if you go 8's or 10's they should fit with sealed boxes. ported would take up to much room but it should fit with a sealed box. im not positive though, i'd need to do the exact measurements to be sure but since im still back and forth on the idea i don't want to waste my time figuring out the math till im sure it would be something id go ahead and do
