Default Best preformance chip?

What's everyone using? What's the best? I've heard it's the best bang for your buck mod for these trucks. Also heard it makes them suck as towing. Any truth to that?

I was checking this one out.
http://www.superchips.com/products.p...Grand+Cherokee
It says 98-01. Would it be okay to use in a 96. If not what else?

Thanks forany help guys

I've been shopping and reshearchingfor the same thing and this is what I'm getting

I think this one is the "Best." http://www.bgperformancepcm.com/.

The only problem I see (if there is one) is that you can't remove it.I would also likethe ability to choose 87 or 93 octane gas.The huge plus is they can do a custom flash based on your mods, so should be better than hypertech or superchips. The hypertech dyno charts show basically no gain from regular to premium gas, so why pay more?

I thought I read on a old post that the Superchips "fixed" the Torque converter lockup going into OD that some experience, but the Hyperchip didn't. I would like that point verified as I have been trying to find more info on this as I have that problem, plus the death flash.

I thought about the BG too, but I change a lot as I go and this could be more of a problem
I now have a hypertech and no more death flash! Wow what a difference.
I just moved it up to 93 and filled up this morning, only an extra $4.50 per tank for premium.
We'll see how the 93 responds.
Heck I drove it programmed for 93 w/ 87 in the tank and it drove fine, no pinging, it was 100 degrees too. Stock thermo and oe heat range Autolite plats.

Yeah,

I have one of those 35 gallon jobs on the long bed. But I'm going to have to get a programmer next month, got a feeling that's really holding me back. I have two electric fans and a Fastman TB coming this week. The entire cat back has been opened up, thermo replaced to a 180*, did a tune up (wires, plugs, distributor cap, rotor), flushed radiatior,Mopar combustion chamber cleaner the engine, and an oil change. I'mstill debatingabout that Crankshaft sensor mod.More research needed on that one. Oh yeah, going tomess around with the horns today and see if I can get them to sounda little sicker.

I never had good luck with the electric fans, I went through 3 electric fans and one flex and wound up going back to the fan and clutch fo the best cooling on my 69 Fire-chicken years ago. Things may have changed now, I guess.

Yeah work on those horns before I over-spend on some.

Fox,

Got you a horn DIY, Might not be louder in the cabin, but should be in the front, and it's free.
