is there any way i can reset my check engine light?

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Turn the ignition to on for 10 seconds. turn off, reconnect the negative cable. If it comes back you still have an issue

Yeah, either the negative cable trick or an OBD II scanner from auto zone. I had a similar problem when I kept trying to pull the negative off of my battery, reset it, then it would come back on within a couple hours of driving it. So i got the code and it was "Cylinder 5 misfire" So i spent a few bucks and got new spark plugs. It could be as simple as that. Also, check your gas cap. That also sets of you check engine light.

its showing PO304? u think spark plugs would fix this prob?

its a 1997 2500 5.9 360 think new plugs would fix this?

idk i just got the truck last sunday the guy said he just put new plugs and wires but they dont look new i dont kno what kind they r but i reset the code then it will drive fine for a while then it will come back on and do the same code so i was goin to change them again if u think it will fix the prob

When you do the plugs be careful how you run your wires. From the pros here if youdo it wrong & you will get a misfire.
