Default Head Lights

Need help,

I have a 2001 Dodge ram 1500 and looking to get ride of the day time driving lights...

I want my lights to come on when I turn the **** in the cab only..

Any Idea's..

Some of the newer ones did, especially if they were made for sale in Canada. The Canadians made it a law that vehicles manufactured there after such-and-such year (can't remember) must have daytime running lights.

EDIT: The Canadian lawmakers are also the ones we have to blame for the ugly 2nd Gen Durangos. Some law that SUVs there have to have the same height bumpers as a car or some such nonsense.

Sorry if it seems like I'm raggin on Canadians, I'm not trying too... just stating the facts.

If you purchase a pair of phillips night guide tri color bulbsat 34.99 for the pair at meijers when you put them in and start your truck, no drl's. Don't know why but it did and they are bright.
