Vacuum hose, where does it go?

Vacuum hose, where does it go?
I have a 2001 Ram 1500 4x4 5.2L. I just put a new motor in the truck and I have a green vacuum hose that I can't figure out where it goes. The truck starts fine but idles around 1100rpms. C.E. light is on, Autozone scanned, said it was either TPS or IAC, possibily due to a vacuum leak. The green hose is located on the drivers side behind the valve cover and it does not have a vacuum coming out of it, which tells me its suppose to hook to something. Everything that is listed on the diagram under the hood is hooked up.
Thanks for any help

RE: Vacuum hose, where does it go?
A 2001 ought to still have the vacuum diagram in the engine compartment. If that doesn't help, download the manual:
https://dodgeforum.com/m_340929/tm.htm
you have lines for:
pcv
brakes
front diff.
hvac
emissions
and you may have a line for cruise control

RE: Vacuum hose, where does it go?
I have a two connections on the D/S, one for PCV/one for Brake booster.
One connection on the P/S, it splits off to the Cruise Control, Vacuum Resivoir, Transfer Case, HVAC controls.
I have one connection from the front of the TB that goes to a small canister on the P/S behind the headlight
The hose i can't figure out comes from the T/Case and it's green, it looks like it has a check valve on the end of it.

RE: Vacuum hose, where does it go?
On mine, the control line comes off the manifold into a t (1) one end running to the cruise and the other to another t(2). One end of that t(2) runs to a t(3). On that t(3) both lines run through the firewall for hvac. On the other end oft(2) there is another t(4) with both lines going to 4x4 controls. I don't have a vacuum resevoir. Does yours look aftermarket?

Mopower: One of the hoses that goes through the firewall connects to the resivoir, its mounted under the cowl on the pass. side.
