Front seat removal

I was looking at that the other day. My carpet had gotten wet and I was trying to take out the passenger seat so that I could lift up the carpet to see what was going on. I didn't have any problems with the bolts. The one that you are referring to in my truck is just a nut that you remove. The trouble I had was with the bolts holding the center seat to the passenger and driver seat. Anyway, I found that it would probably be easier to remove the entire front seat as an assembly (driver/passenger ¢er seat) rather than unbolting the seats individually. Like you said, it is a bear to get to the bolts. HTH

Thanks. I figured it out. There are 2 sets of sliders on the passenger side I guess so more of the seat can go forward so passengers can get in and out of the back more easily.
The problem was the handle on the side of the seat was stripped so I had to manually release the tabs under the seat.
