The connection part in trans was broken off or melted i am going to look at bands not much adjustment bolt on rear band or front the front band is real lose

Connection part was broken off or melted I am going to look at bands front is lose both front and rear adjustment bolts have very little bolt left to adjust

They are probably worn out..... You *might* be able to get away with a slip-in band replacement for a little while, but, once the bands are gone, the rest of the trans isn't far behind.

Default Off subject

Sorry this is off topic, but I have a 2001 dakota 4.7L. It starts right up and runs fine. Once you shut it off, it wont start for about a half hour or so. I have changed engine temp sensor, crank sensor, radiator, the computer and no resolve. Also changed fuel pump relay. I am lost, any help would be greatly appreciated
