Timing chain cover coolant leak

One last question... My oil pressure guage once warmed up sits just under 40 when idling and when driving under maintance throttle. However when accelerating, the oil pressure goes up above the 40 mark, and then drops back just under once I ease up off the throttle.
Is this normal or is the oil pressure supposed to stay level?

During this repair the main thing that gave me trouble was removing the crankshaft bolt while keeping the engine from turning over. Thought I'd post a pic of the solution I used in case someone comes accross this in a search for the same issue.
Piece of flat steel bar, 24x3x1/8". Drilled three holes to match bolt pattern in harmonic balancer, and ground to fit around main bolt with a bench grinder. Hope it helps someone with the same problem.

the big bolt holds the balancer to the crankshaft.
its torqued real tight. 100+ pounds (135 maybe)
the 6 little bolts hold the belt pulley to the balancer.
he's using them, to hold the tool that stops the engine from turning - while he removes the big bolt. something like this is needed when using hand tools. not needed with air wrench.
