Default Gas Gauge Issue

I had to replace my fuel pump. When I did it the fuel gauge didn't work, it read E. Found out I didn't index the pump right, so I moved the bed instead of dropping the tank (34 gallons is heavy lol). After overcoming some issues it seemed to work. Went to a little below full, and after driving around went to 3/4 full. I filled it up and now it's stuck at 3/4. I tested the gauge it works. I unplug the pump and it goes to E. So I'm stumped. Any ideas?
