Default 2000 Ram 2500 V-10 dead

Driving down I75 doing 75 -80 MPH (keeping up with traffic) pulled into rest stop, maybe half hour latter turn key and "click". Jumped battery and "click,. Towed home.
Towed to shop told engine seized. No noise, no overheat, no smoke just dead a half hour after running normal. Now looking at a rebuilt engine for big bucks. Anyone hear of a problem like this? Any Ideas what might be the problem. One last thing, pulled belt in case a bearing on an accessory seized. Truck has manual gearbox, 4x4 and, like I said, V-10.
Not battery - load tested, passed (only 2 or 3 months old).

Won't know for sure until they tear it down to see. (which you will also get to pay for, if you are just going to long block it.)

Could be anything at this point.

Did it have oil in it? Did the shop show you the crank doesn't turn at all?

Moparite: I tried to turn crank both clockwise and CC thinking might be hydrostatic lock - no luck.

Truck nor in repair shop getting a rebuilt - make that " re-manufactured " engine (They can charge more calling it " re-manufactured").
Thanks for the comments.
