Default Swapping out dashes

I was wondering if i could swap a dash out of a 98 into a 97? I like the 98+ dashes a lot better than my 97. I am not worried about the electrical i can figure that out but i was wondering if the bolt pattern was the same

I seriously doubt it. The bolts below the windshield may be the same, but the front is likely to be all different due to the shape. You would however, have to replace everything like the instrument cluster, climate controls, etc. If it was possible (and I'm not saying it's not) then it would be a hell of a job. Goodluck!

I know the shape is different. I was thinking of using everything from the firewall back that mounts the dash to the firewall. I am still trying to find out if anyone has thought of it or has done it yet? If it works out ill do a build page on it.

Man, it looks like your on your own. I have no idea if that swap will work or not. Go get a dashboard from a junkyard and just try it. If it does work, it would be a bada$$ write up.

It sits on top of your dash to cover all the cracks.
