Front and rear seal leaks

i don't know that its worth doing those as a standalone job. the rear main is not too bad, although you do have to remove starter, cover, pan, oil pump, and loosen the crank. the front seal is in the timing cover, so you have to remove water pump and strip the whole front and top of the motor.
i did both of my seals when i had water pump failure. otherwise, i wouldn't have done it.
general preference is to replace with standard pump, as high volume can pump up more oil than can drain down and cycle around.

i have not had time to replace mine yet and im goin throw about 2 quarts of oil a week and on top of that you lose oil pressure and will have to run heavy oil like 20w 50. oo and your truck well be smokeing alll the time form the oil driping down on exhaust pips.
