Default Brakes! NEED ADVICE PLEASE

I have a 1998 Dodge Dually. It seems the front brakes are locking up with little pedal pressure, the rears don't seem to be coming on at all. On the dash the ABS brake light is on. Any advice would be appreciated. THANKS!

Get the ECM scanned for codes...if the ABS light is on, a fault code should have been thrown. If you don't have an OBD scanner, any autoparts store should scan it for free...if you feel that you can get there safely.

It's obviously related to your ABS system, but there are several parts to this system...hopefully the fault code will point you in the right direction.

to get you where you need to go, you can get in your fuse box and pull out the abs fuse. that should stop all abs control to your front brakes and get you where you need to go for now.

if the rears aren't coming on at all check up under the gas tank by the frame and see if you see any wetness. If you do the break line blew out behind the tank. either that or you have a bad wheel cylinder and it is blowing out thru the drum
