Website. Contact information will be in there somewhere. He can answer all your questions.

The sct tuner is pretty much considered the best bang for the buck mod here. He can set you up with a custom tune for right around 365. Should deal with your turbo just fine. You will more than likely need a wideband O2, and data logging capability to get it right though.

I'm just curious. What makes this company better than others ?

I have a 2000 Dakota with the 4.7L and the mpg sucks, with only 15.8, so I'm looking into a engine programmer (HP & TQ gain as well) cold air intake, exhaust etc.....and asking God for a miracle !

15.8 MPG on the 4.7 is above average for city driving... You know you can't the same mileage a prius does out of your dakota right?

Anways... SCT by Hemifever is custom programmed before hand by the guy who sells them, named Sean. And he knows a good amount about tuning from what I hear. Other companies sell tuners for our gassers that have very little affect. Some just have generic tuning that only gives small gains.

Btw, throwing in all that money to increase mpg won't pay itself off for a while. Especially with the increased power, you'll wanna be stepping on the pedal even more...which means less mpg.

A couple of miles gained is better than nothing for us, because we keep our vehicles until their dead, not trading them in every 3-6 years. Being a 2000, it only has 61,000 low miles and in great condition. When the exhaust is shot, I'll also get a less restrictive system.

I have a SCT with a milder 89 octane tune that has netted me about a 1 mpg gain in the city and 1.5 on the highway. I'd say 2 mpg would be a lucky shot, perhaps on a very stock unlifted truck with standard tires.
The power gain is very noticeable especially on the bottom end, but climbing hills is a bit easier too. The trans shifts much better and Sean just sent me a new tune to lower my OD shift point, which may help mileage more for my type of driving environment.
The SCT made more power then any previous mods I've done, but I couldn't run the 93 tune with the availible gas in my area.

BTW Seans' (hemifever) customer service couldn't be better.

i also need a way to change my tire size for the speedo (been lookin at an edge ct for a monitor system but i dont know if it changes tire ratios for speedo)

like asked a bit back, is the sct scanner bought from hemi or a dealer? (does the hemifever tune include the physical tuner or is it just the programming?)

You buy the tuner from hemifever which is the handheld unit that comes with 3 preloaded tunes. If you do more mods you can have him do custom tunes also.
