the lines should still be like i said just forget about the vent line...

when i had the vacume moter out i could not move the shaft in the axel. dont know if it means anything

also the cad should move to the driver side in 4wd, and passenger side in 2wd

the cad actuator will move a bit, that's normal

yes the lines are like u said i have replaced them one at a time
they are by the transfer case

none of the shafts should move, only the little colar on the shaft, if that wont move that could be a problem, and is the shift fork in the propper place on that collar?

how do you know it working in low but not hi? thats almost immpossible, without having a busted t-case, or maby your linkage to the t-case may need an adjustment
