Is the bracket that goes from the ac to the intake needed? If not I'm not putting it back on

 

its a piece of cake to put on, 3 bolts, and yes that lines it up, so you need it.

 

i dont believe it is needed....im pretty sure i ran around without mine for awhile

 

i hav a previous threadhere that was about my belt being partially off one of my pulleys. it turned out, since you know the bracket has two bolts for the AC, and one goes to the manifold. the one to the manifold i forgot to put it (when i did plenum fix) got it lined up with the bolt in it, and now my belt is straight.

thats why i say you need it.

It's there to help stabilize the unit, I wouldn't leave it off.

 

Well, I'm putting mine back on! I took it off because I thought it was just for the stock air box.

 

no i never thought of you calling me a liar, its all good. i was just stating my experiance so he could take that into consideration. i myself am not sure if it as to there. again, it was my experiance
