Default kick down cable adjustment

my 97 ram with the 5.9 v-8 and i believe the 47re trans needs the kickdown cable adjusted. under normal acceleration it goes into 3rd around 40 mph, then back to 2nd around 45mph, then back to 3rd around 50, then OD and everything is fine after that. I was told by a friend with a 98 grand cherokee with the 5.9 how to adjust it. I thought cause the motors and trans's are the same, the adjustment would be the same, but i guess it isn't. Any info on this i would appriate it.
Thanks, Brian

www.fbthrottlebodies.com Ask Bruce for his instructions. I went through this with mine at the time of installing my TB but, I don't have the instructions with me out here on the east coast. Just ask him for them and he'll send them to you.

This does not help if you lost the factory setting, but will help with adjusting after you get it back to stock. http://www.bionicdodge.com/Download/...Adjustment.pdf

If you download this it will get you back to factory spec. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...tmas-guys.html

Yes, you can do it. Easy-peasy.
