Default lowering 2001 ram as cheap as possible

I want to lower my truck, I don't haul anything with my truck anymore but would like to if I had the need to. There is also a car show coming up on the 4th that I've been dragged into setting up.

I want to cut the springs in the front but dont know how many coils I can cut to get x number of inches.

On the rear I thought I remembered seeing a thread about flipping a leaf mount but im on my phone and the google search is weak.

Flip the rear axle so it's on top of the spring. Have to search too see how it's done. Cut the front springs. Cut one coil off both and see how it looks. Want lower? Cut another coil off. Just remember, you can't add the coil back if you go too low. You'll need new coils.

Drop shackles are only like $40 or something. Thats 2" for pretty cheap, but I dont know how low you want to go.

I really dont know how low I want to go because I dont know how low I can go before it makes it unusable as a truck. Ide also prefer not to pull the frond end apart nore than once so id like some input from someone who's cut ram springs before

See this thread https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ering-kit.html

Springs are cheap don't mess with cutting them.
