Center Support Bearing (2 piece driveshaft)
1. Has anyone here replaced the center support bearing on their 2 piece drive-shaft?
2. If you have, did you replace with OEM or aftermarket?
3. Anyone use the Timken HB88107B replacement bearing (different design)?
I've got the 9.25 rear end and the square bearing (expensive to replace). On *********.com one user replaced his square OEM bearing with the Timken HB88107B and it has performed well.

I went ahead and replaced my center support bearing on my driveshaft and while I was there, I replaced the 3 u-joints as well.
If anyone ever needs to replace the center bearing, here are a few tips.
1. After you have the driveshaft out and on your bench, just cut the old bearing off with a cut-off wheel. Just make sure you do not cut the machined surface of the d-shaft.
2. Before putting the new bearing on, put it in the freezer overnight. This will help it slide onto the shaft a little easier.
3. Take some spray lube and 220 or higher sandpaper and lightly smooth the machined surface (this will ensure everthing is smooth)
4. Have some large washers/steel plates handy to help BANG the new large steel cup on first.
5. You can use a piece of 1 1/2" PVC pipe to help drive the bearing on
6. Re-use the same washers/steel plates in #4 to drive on the small steel cup on last
