Default Dome Lights and Door Sensors

The idiot that owned my truck before broke the door sensors. It is now not allowing me turn off the dome light at all. Is there a way to rig it so it thinks the doors are closed? I currently have to unplug a fuse but that makes other things not work. So I'd like to just rig the doors to think they are closed. Any help? The person before me rigged something up in the electrical but it's come undone. Its really annoying me

A 2000 1500. I found the part. I just don't know how to get the old ones out. Do they pull straight out?

ok I got it. Ignore my last question. Got a new one. My automatic door locks keep going off while I am driving. Thoughts? Would a shorted wire by the map lights or radio have anything to do with that? I think I've got an issue I'm those areas. Idiot pervious owner set me up for disaster...

Have the service manual for your truck? If not, get one from here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W.
