WOW! Thank You VERY Much. For those prices, it is WORTH it to drive to cleveland west, to score a trans, and I am even familiar with the area. (used to live in Shaker Heights....)

Come spring, when the weather gets a bit nicer, I see a road trip in my future.

+1 on Pullapart. They are CHEEEAP!! With that said, if it's a popular part, it is usually gone. Some of the vehicles in there look like road kill after about month of sitting on the side of the road, just the carcass.

no problem guys i will let you know if i plan on getting rid of it. also does anyone think that i would be able to pull off an overhaul?

Check out some of the DIY's posted on some other forums. J415 did his, and it was his first venture into transmissions. He has a thread with some great links in the FAQ section here. Give 'em a read. This is something I plan on doing this summer, hopefully.

can you post a link to his DIY believe it or not, not all 17yr olds are good with computers..... i have trouble finding my own post lol
