Default charcoal canister

I have a 95 Dodge ram 2500 gas. My mechanic said I need a new charcoal canister never herd of one but was wondering if anyone new where to get one and how much they run.

It's part of the vapor recovery system for the fuel tank. On yours, should be shortly behind the drivers seat, mounted to the frame.

Screw the junkyard, get it from the dealer. It's one of those pieces that, if at the jy, it's probably messed up. If your charcoal canister is messed up, your also better off buying the purge solenoid also (it's more likely then not that bits of charcoal migrated into your purge solenoid, its on the rear driverside of the intake)
