Default need help anybody...

1ve got a 98 ram 1500 swapped out the front axle to a 95 and put 1 ton steering on it... problem is, is there is no steering stabilizer mount on the axle? is there something im missing? ive looked all over. i know i need the steering stabilizer cause with out it i will prolly have "death wobble". any help would be greatful. I know i can weld a bracket, but im not the best welder, just wondering if there is a way to by pass this problem without welding. thanks

just went out and looked again and the only idea I can come up with is putting the steering stabilizer on the outside bracket of the track bar, and getting a bigger bolt to go through both the stabilizer and the track bar... Would this work?

Some years they only had like a clamp assembly on the drag link. And in no way would NOT having a bad stabilizer cause "death wobble". Make sure all steering and suspension components are good. Trac bar comes to mind.

thanks, i know in the jeep having a bad stabilizer caused "death wobble"... I wasnt for sure if dodge would act the same... I think im just goin to cut off the mounting bracket off the 98 and have my buddy weld it on the bottom of the 95 axle.

upload your pics to a hosting site like photobucket. then copy/paste the IMG code directly into the thread. photobucket will show you the IMG code under each pic that you upload, and allow you to copy it.
