Brush Guard Question

Question Brush Guard Question

I scored a brush guard for 50 bucks with mounting brackets and hella lights The problem, the ram that it was on was a 03. No big deal I can adapt the mounting brackets to fit my 97. Heres my question I have never drove or been in a truck with a brush guard on. I had it vise gripped where it is ganna be and got it my truck I can see about 2-3 inches of the top is this normal any ideas will it be fine? I hope it install it on Sat. Ill have pictures then.

I'm thinking same as my hood scoops were at first that was all I looked at for like a week and now I dont even notice them.

I think the 3rd gen Rams were taller.
Other than that. As long as it look proportionate. It should be fine.
Being able to see the top of the brush guard is a good thing.

I was kinda thinking that to I need to move the headlight guard down a few inches. I'm probably ganna trace the brackets before I chop them this way I can always pick up some 1/4 in. metal and make new ones if I need to.

Just a update I got it installed last night took 2 hours but I got to pull everything off clean up with a grinder and bedliner the thing should have pics today.

I think it should be fine. I don't see mine, but I do have those bug deflectors on the hood that I can visibly see. Over time I didn't even notice them, I'm sure the same will happen with your brush guard. You'll notice it at first, but then you'll get used to it.

Dude94 is right, as long as it looks proportional to your truck, that should be all that matters.

yea it shows less then I thought I dropped it like a in. and I can only see a slight part of it I love it. Ill be getting the wires for the lights tomorrow so I can get some light pics.
