v10 RAM no start....frustrated

Verify you are getting power to the relay, pin 30. Should be 12 volts regardless of key position.

If you are getting 12 volts there, put a jumper in from pin 30, to pin 87, check for power at injectors, and coil packs.

correct....i jumped pin 30 and 87....power is present at injectors and coil packs

Will it start and run?

If it won't, see if you are getting spark/injector pulse.

still NO START....
power is still at coils and injectors

i hooked up a test light to the negative trigger side of injector and
no ground

no pulse at injectors

i forgot to add earlier that i have no communication with the old computer
and i have no comm. with new computer

if that helps any

check engine light does NOT illuminate....and key dance doesnt work

WHAT gives ground signal to coil and injectors? CAM or CRANK sensors?
i have a new crank sensor....cam sensor has 5 v to it and a good ground
but i dont know how to test trigger on cam sensor...is it mv?

Check IOD fuse, make sure it isn't blown.

Crank sensor will trigger coils. If you get spark at all, that's fine.

Cam sensor triggers injectors. Its just a hall affect switch. So, it's an on/off kind of thing.

When you first turn the ignition on, does the CEL come on, even as a bulb test?

where exactly is the iod relay/ fuse?
check engine light does NOT come on for a bulb check

correct me if i;'m wrong on this but, if the iod fuse was blown the radio would not work ...correct?

my radio works ok

Test for power at the engine computer. If the engine light isn't turning on, it sounds like the engine computer isn't getting power.
