Theres a hd nv4500 here locally for cheap, and if they clutch combo would work then all i would need is a 360 gas bellhousing

In a ways, by december i should be getting a 2500good dollar check, and i was gonna regear but my tranny is acting up lately. Im tired of working on it(tranny number 4in 2 years), and the mechanics of the manual sawp are not difficult

update. ive been looking at the flywheel mounting points for a clutch and it just doesnt look like it would work. do you thing itd be doable to have the proper clutch mounting points for a cummins or V-10 clutch machined into a 360 gas flywheel?

As long as the bigger clutch fits in the bellhousing and the cable lever/throwout bearing for the 360 works with the bigger clutch it seems like if you got the pressure plate mounted it would have to work. You may need a different driveline too.

Edit I'm just guessing at this so beware.

Remember whatever flywheel you use it must be balanced to match the 360 Magnums external balance.

Well if i were to do this swap i would be using a stock 360 gas flywheel. The every thing is the same for the ld and hd 4500's except for the splines
