Default 1997 dodge ram 5.2 chip??

I'm lookin to throw a chip on my 97 dodge ram with 6in on 33"s need some better mpg's. Already cut the cat out and straight pipe it. Any ideas anyone?? Thanks

SCT tuner. Nothing else.

There's other things you should first if you wanna see much difference.

Plenum fix
Front O2 sensor(after plenum fix)
Timing chain
Tune Up

Don't get a chip

Or you could do the stuff that needs to be done then save your money for gears to top it all off.

Think of all the money you could save if you got 1 more MPG on these gas hogs.

The chip will work for 50-200 miles before the computer learns that it is there and reverts back to the stock settings, the only way to use the computer to increase anything is to re-program it. Don't waste the $60 bucks.

Lol I have accepted the fact I drive a gas hungry truck and mpg will never be what I want. That's why I have a Harley
