Default Installation of new ball joints.

This was my first time installing ball joints on my truck. My question is, after installing them on one side the spindle is very stiff. Should it be like that? The driver side isn't as bad but I used a different brand on that side. The not so stiff side has the Duralast's. I wasn't able to keep the grease fitting on the bottom joint due to the front axle hitting it which sucks.

the moogs are very stiff and for the first few thousand miles you may experience memory steer.

My steering was much "firmer" after a new set of ball joints, I used Duralast.

Better do something about the hole for the zerk fitting then...... don't want water and such to be able to get in there.

I put a dab of E6000 glue over it for now. I cant believe it was designed that way for the fitting not to work out. It's good to hear the stiff steering is normal because if I turn left or right just a little bit, It stays that way til I correct it.

Thats the memory steering i was talkin about. I know the moogs on a ford f250 stay like that for a vey long time. Many people i know removed the moogs because of it. Can make pullin a 24ft gooseneck a pain in the ***

yeah I can see why, on top of that my steering box has a lot of slack but i have a new one coming in. I already did the adjustment a couple of years ago. I think my pitman arm is welded on there.
