Default Performance Chips and Power enhancement for 1996 Dodge 360 V8

I was doing some research on performance chips, and the one I was thinking to get i read a bunch of problems about. It was the g-force. Any opinions and other suggestions? Can't afford much but suggestions are welcome. Also, what are some inexpensive ways to increase power? Thanks.

Dont get a chip, its a waste of time and money. Instead get a programmer, SCT seems to be the preffered one. Do a search for SCT or hemifever here and you will get lots of threads about them.

All it is, is a resistor that you install between the PCM, and the Intake Air Temp sensor. It's a scam. Those chips do absolutely nothing. The web page advertises "dyno proven results", but, that's so much BS as well.

Just my opinion but nothing to improve preformance is cheap. If your on a tight budget your best bet is to do all maintenance items to get your truck running in optimal condition first plenum, plugs, cap, etc. And any other problems. Even all that can add up. Then go for a sct tuner and so on.

So does the price include the custom tunes created? It doesn't really say on their site.

I think the $265 gets you 3 canned tunes. You can have custom tunes made is necessary. If your truck is stock, canned tunes should do you fine

Edit:

I had planned on getting one last tax season along with some exhaust work done, but the money just "disappeared":
