how about something along the lines of 'cleanest way to change t-stat' or 'less mess t-stat change' or if you have a better one zman feel free to use it! I'm not picky! thanks zman

How about just "thermostat replacement" ? This way people can decide for themselves after doing a search, if it is related to their problem or not. Of course you do realize the cleanest way is to just drain the radiator, which will lower the AF level . There will be some mess, but it will be as minimal as possible. Besides draning the block.

Deal. that'll work just fine! You drive a hard bargain lol and that's exactly what I will do. Just need to find something clean to drain it into so I can reuse it, beings I put new ATF in there after I did the plenum a few months back!

Maybe I missed something, but , what does ATF have to do with a T-stat replacement?

And hows that for a title?

Oops! I didn't mean to put that T in there my bad! hahaha...AF not ATF. I mean you guys don't run ATF in place of your coolant?? I've been running it in there for years problem free!

Yea, running ATF in the Rad might cause a small problem.
