Shaking 95 Ram 1500
Have a 95 Ram 1500 4x4 with 360 engine. Starts and runs fine at low and high speeds but shakes at 55 mph. will go away if I push the button to disengage overdrive. trying to find cheapest fix. any ideas?

If it stops when you disengage O/D...... I would suspect engine problem. (blown plenum, clogging cat, trashed O2 sensors, fouled plugs, etc.)

+2 on the motor route, but I would start with a comp or leakdown test before parts are purchased. See what shape the motor is in before you drop a coin on it. Post back your findings.

I have a 96 and I have a problem like that. My Check engine light is on and its the Crank Shaft Sensor. It shakes and its real bad in OD. That could be your problem.
