Default Gearing for 35's

what kind of gearings do people have for a 94 1500 with 35 inch tires? how does stock work? or are gears a big help

Stock kills transmissions and gas mileage.


Get 4.56. If you're towing or doing heavy off roading, swap in Dana 60s and some 4.88s.

Can get 4.88's for the 9.25, and D44 as well.

I agree with the rest though.

I've looked and never found any after another member said it's a no-go. Unless they've showed back up in 2 months.

I know the 4.56s for the D44 have to be thick cut...

*edit*
when you go to randys ring and pinion they're only showing up to 4.56 for the 9.25 rear end.

A lot of good 4.88s will do you in the front if you can't have 4.88s in the rear, which I couldn't find.

Need a new carrier/locker for the rear to use 4.88's I guess .
