Default Electric window issues

Have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 2 door extra cab. Passenger window won't roll down. Bought new window regulator and installed. Window aligned good and went up, but wouldn't roll down. Found purple and white wire to switch with continuity problem. Any ideas? Driver side switch doesn't work either.

Moving this to the correct forum.

Download the 96 service manual from the FAQ section, (where this was originally posted...) have a look at the wiring diagrams for the power windows. If it will go up from either switch, but, won't go down from either switch, that is indeed a wiring problem....

I had this same problem in a Ford truck a while back. Turned out to be a bad driver master switch. Good luck.
