Default Wet driver's side carpet

The drivers side carpet gets saturated when it rains. I need not drive the truck either, and it still happens. It rained 2.5 inches yesterday and when I got in the truck today the carpet was wet, as well as the floor mat on top of it. I checked my body drain holes and they appear clean. Any ideas?

Gonna have to see if you can't find where the water is coming in from. Have a friend hose the truck down, while you sit inside and see if you can find it.

check the third brake light. you can replace gasket, put rtv on gasket surface, or just put a bead of rtv around the outside.

Have you figure if it originates fwd or back yet? When I had the 3rd brake light leak it could go either passenger or driver side or both depending how I parked. But it soaked back to front.

If the water is getting on top of the floor mat probably not the brake light.

i now have another leak that soaks front to rear that could be what you have. Seems like it comes right down the inside of the dash just fwd of the door. I have my eye on possibly a seam visible when the hood is up right by the hood hinges. Haven't had a chance to test my theory with a hose or more rain yet. Keep us posted if you find it.
