ive given that a though. i think im going to re-wire the entire thing. using the heat shrink butt connectors. that way it will basically be a brand new harness.

if that doesnt work, ill buy a new one.

yeah thats what those butt connectors are in the pic above. just didnt have a heat gun to shrink the tubing.

as stated, gonna re-wire it, and hopefully itll take care of the issue. if not, to the dealer it is!

Don't need a heat gun, just use a lighter.

Eh I have a heat gun.. easier to use.. and not chance of fires. ;-)
