I'm also gonna install a billet accumulator piston and the sonnax 3-4 accumulator spring while I'm tearing it apart.

Do the whole sonax kit. Better shifts, converter charge in park, ability to check fluid level in park. A win all the way around.

The guy that built the trans did something to it, it shifts harder than it use to. I just didn't want to mess anything he did.

Give him a call, and find out what it was he did. There IS a fair bit of overlap between the sonax kit, and some of the 'shift kits' out there in the world....

I had bought a transgo kit and took it to him for the rebuild and he didn't want to use it or something and he said he could do a few things to it to make it shift like I wanted. I'll give him a call and see what he says.

^I'm always wary of those type of people.
Unless you build race transmissions, tell me what the hell you're going to do to my trans, or put in what I tell you. lol

He builds race trans for a couple racing shops around the area, he does great work just wish I knew what all he put in it lol. His exact words when I picked it up and asked if it was gonna hold up was drive the hell out of it.

So I got a new symptom I noticed today, when I'm in od and brake quickly right around 5-7 mph I get a harsh jolt like the tc is unlocking hard. Any ideas on that one?

Could my 2 problems just be the sensor sticking?
