Default 2000 Ram off road sport edition tire question

I finally got a set of stock 16 inch rims, what would be the biggest tire I can run without any mods, has 4.10's not much mudding

Do you plan on mud bogging or just some light-medium mud and hill climbing?

If they're the stock 16's I'd say go 265/75-16 if you want a Deeper Tire.

Something like this would be perfect for 4x4 and street combo:

Also, max load is 2601 lbs per tire so 5202 should allow you a little under a ton of carrying capacity, I suggest looking at a better tire if you are hauling quarry rocks in the bed of your truck lol

why did you say you go a set of stock 16" wheels? the offroads come from the factory with 17" rims. keep those... theyre pretty rare, and desirable.

and without a leveling kit. 285/75/16, or 305/70/16, or with a leveling kit, 315/75/16.

i dont know why you want to stop using the 17" offroad rims. i wish i had a set of those.

it didn't have the 17" rims on it when I got it, it has a set of 20" Boss Motorsport rims and 16 inch tires are a lot cheaper. lol Im taking the 20's off

The stock ORE Rams had 275/70/17 tires. Which basically work out to a 33. So you could run 285/75/16's with the stock wheels.
However, I think the ORE wheels had different backspacing than the 16in Dodge wheels so you might rub the control arms at full lock.

Could sell the Dodge wheels for enough, I think.

Folks around here want $200 for a decent set.

No joke.

Your market might be different though.

I've seen some Dodge wheels going for $400 a set. Pisses me off because my 76 needs an extra wheel and I can't find any. lol
