i've never seen one, but the 2001.5/2002 2500 is reported to have rear disc on dana 60's. so yeah, if you could find one of those with the engine/trans of your choice with 4.10's you'd have something to write home about.

Well it has not been on the lot long. Not even long enough to clean it up and take pictures of it. So the condition it was in when traded is the condition I saw it in. Interior is as perfect as it is going to get, but the body has the 01 paint fade on the hood and roof, drivers door is starting to bubble on the bottom, one rear fender is starting to bubble (smaller than a quarter) and there is a dent in the box right by the back bumper. The back bumper actually hides over half the dent.

That truck won't stay on the lot for long... If you like it, and the price is reasonable, pick it up.

Agreed, people know that the best second gen rams are the off road editions because of their nice little additions from the factory....I got lucky and found mine from a private seller on autotrader...flew out to Rhode Island to get it and then drove the 10 hrs back to western PA....point being that if the dealer lists it somewhere online, people will come a good distance to pick something like that up.

98 had a 2500 with D60s and 4.10s.

Here is link to the plenum gasket topic. It's a "sticky" thread that is at the top of this forum.

the death flash took place on 2000-2001 models, to try and cover up the pinging and loss of power from the above stated plenum problem. just a way to cover it up so people wouldnt notice, basically they told the computer it only has this much power when really you fix the plenum and get a tune and overwrite the computer death flash and now you have THIS MUCH POWER.....
