Default Front dana 44 ?

Will older chevy or ford Ring & Pinion fit the front housing of a 96 1500 or the jeep gears ?

Any low pinion gear set will work. A lot of Fords where high pinion.

Not enough information here on what you have in hand. It seems like you are saying you have or can get chevy/ford R&Ps. However, what year are you talking about, just for starters? I wouldn't expect much difference other than whether high or low pinion.

There are no "jeep" gears.

You'd be cross referencing part numbers of R&P across Dana 44.

Like the late 70's ford front dana 44's and the 75-87 chevy dana 44's ? I figured if i could find some good used gears for my front on a deal i would buy them if they will fit !
