Default Difference between 1740 and 740 codes.

Cant find the proper info anywhere online. Even searched here. I'm still getting a p0740 code even after replacing TCC solenoid. Its like the torque converter has a mind of its own after about 45 in third gear. My friend has a B&m converter if its the converter. Any opinions welcome.

Which code are you asking about? Here's a good thread on the P1740 code:

Might be time for a rebuild.
