Default Helix Throttle Body Spacer on the 488

Hey y'all...has anyone tried this "spacer" on their V10? Does it work or provide better gas mileage? I admit my V10 isn't too bad. A friend has a straight 6 in a Grand Jeep and we both get around 15MPG. Just looking for opinions on the spacer...even if you use it on a V8, please share your thoughts. Thanks and drive hard

Throttle body spacers are worthless on a direct fuel injected vehicle.

This.

On a carbed, or throttle body injected engine, you might see some gains. On a port injected engine, spacer is just a paperweight. Does absolutely nothing.

I traded mine to a kid for a Kobalt toolbox for my truck. They're worthless and make too much noise.

That sounds like a great trade.

15 mpg with the V10 is the best mileage I have ever heard out of one of those. My dads would struggle for 13, most are less than that from what I have heard.

I thought it was useless, the air would not maintain a vortex pattern through the upper manifold and there is no fuel mixture going on. Just thought I'd ask if I missed something...thanks
