Default 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 heated mirrors

Hi,
I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 sport with heated mirrors. The driver's side mirror takes a long time to heat up. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to DF. Well, your truck is pushing 13 years old. Things wear out over time. I suspect one or more of the heating elements may be burned through. Probably just have to replace the whole mirror.
