I use Sea foam in all of my cars after each oil change. That would be about 4 to 5 thousand miles. Has worked well for me. I also use a good top-tier gas too. No cheap stuff..

I don't know if maybe I am misunderstanding, but is this in a liquid form? Cause the seafoam I use is in an aerosol can and I spray it straight into the throttle body. When I first got my truck, it would idle rough and die, I replaced IAC, but seafoam is what fixed it. A couple of weeks ago, it started doing the same damn thing, I would have to hold the gas and brake down to drive it. I seafomed it again, and it runs fine(ish) now

The cans that I get are in a liquid. I know right beside it, is an aerosol lubricant. Hope you're not using the wrong one!~ lol
