Unhappy Help

98.5 dodge ram 2500 cummins...it only hard to start when it turns cold and the volts are jumping for few mins. to can this be the crank senor

block heater and grid heater working......when the temp drop cold the volt meter showns low volt on start up..when it start every time...after the truck sets for 12 or more hour its hard to start

I don't think the cummins ever had glow plugs.

I would look at electrical stuff. Start with the battery

First check your battery connections. Are they corroded?

how cold are you talking? without the block heater being plugged in in very cold temps, cummins motors will be hard to start.
