Default build my own leaf springs

I have been searching around and cant find exactly what im looking for. Ill start with some background info. i have recently bought an 01 1500 offroad edition. i noticed that my rear is sagging quite a bit and after looking i see that my leaf springs are cracked where the bushing goes in on the front. my question is are the offroad springs the same as reg. 1500 springs, just with blocks and maybe longer shackles? If so i plan to buy a pair from the junkyard. Do you guys think its possible to take a leaf out of my busted pair and add to the good ones to make like a helper spring? or just a beefier set? Mine are 2.5 inches wide and 3/4 ton springs are 3 inches wide. i have no intention on swapping stuff to make 3" fit. Im going broke just trying to get this thing mechanically sound (previous owner was a 17 year old kid... shouldn't need any more explanation lol)

call the dealer, check price/availability on new springs.... see what that looks like first.

I don't know where the additional two inches of lift on the ORE comes from....

i asked the dealer if they were the same as 1500 springs, they say they needed a vin to cross check stuff like that (my vin and donor vin). the dealer is just frustrating to talk to anymore. asked the junk yard and they have no idea what the diff is between mine and regular but can sell me a set regular ones for 100 bucks. they say they cant even get offroad ones. Im gathering bits of info here and there and the only thing i have really learned is that reg rams have 3 or 4 leafs and mine has 5.

I always thought the ORE had taller blocks.

For every spring you add to the pack in theory it will lift your truck one inch. Yes you can build your own spring packs, but as you are using used springs it might not sit level when all said and done.

holy cow those prices are a little steep for my wallet! What i want to do is take the main spring from a 4x4 ram (the one that actually has the mounts) and swap them with mine. I wasnt sure if my ore main was longer than standard rams?

Have a chat with the dealership parts department, and compare part numbers. If the numbers are the same, so are the springs.

Same length as far as I can tell, If you are anywhere close to me you can have the two spring packs I have here for free.

Edit: 2wd springs are diff from 4wd springs so get 4wd springs
