Are you spending the whole 2k on it? If so, it should get you most if not all of the parts listed, and if that's the case it wont matter what order you do them in.

Since these are not going to be do-it-yourself repairs, here is the order I'd consider:

Intake+gasket set, water pump, double roller timing chain set, distributor cap+rotor, Taylor 8mm plug wires, Autolite plugs, 180* stat+gasket, harmonic balancer (only if yours is bad or going bad), E'brock shorty headers+good header gaskets. Given that labor has to be paid out to install these parts, the headers may have to wait, given the labor rate/cost.. Check your radiator (since coolant must be drained to do this work anyway) and make sure its in good shape and not leaking - if it needs replacement, consider the all-aluminum replacement CSF 2969, as noted in this link:

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...-radiator.html

Given the mileage noted, is your transmission, front suspension and rear axle in good shape? If not, may need some funds to get them up-to-snuff, too.

Lastly, is this a 4x4 truck?

Any roller rocker is a good upgrade, getting rid of any parasitic drag helps. The 1.7 are a bonus because of the ratio change. More like $300-$350 for a set.

Labor to get all that is going to be more than $500 I'm thinking. Labor is $80/hr around here. It cost me about $100 just to get a muffler installed. (First and last time I will pay a shop if I can avoid it). Obviously a mechanic is quicker than me, but when I did my plenum it was like a 4-5 hr job iirc, and this would be comparable to the air gap install.
