Yeah, I was completely impressed by the numbers, considering the neglect it had by the POs. Looks like if I stay on regular maintenance, we have lots of miles left in the engine.

I did get a real good flush on the rails. Everything flowed really nicely for me off the truck.

I did notice the passenger rail has a small dimple on the top, right in the middle. It's maybe an 1/8th deep of a depression, as big around as a dime. Rail is still nice and straight (compared to a straight edge) so there's no warpage because of it, and I doubt that little bit of a dimple will affect pressure to injectors 2 and 4.

My rail has that dimple too. Must come stock that way.

Good to know! I figured someone smacked it with a wrench!

Went to start the truck today and got the same d*** problem.

It did rain last night. But I don't think it has anything to do with moisture. Whatever is wet doesn't have time to dry out. If it's bad when I start it, I can shut it right off and fire it up just fine immediately after.

Running out of ideas here. Still no codes.

Did notice today at WOT there was some very light pinging. Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me, but it definitely sounded like it was coming from the passenger side. Could it still be lean on that bank?

Entirely possible. Run it for a week or so, and look at your plugs again.

**Update**

Still not fixed, and I think it's getting worse. It takes longer to "come out of its funk" when it starts bad, and it acts like it just wants to die instead of a rough idle with no power.

Plus I now have hesitation throughout the rpm range and in all gears.

Plugs are still nice and white on the passenger side; no discernible change from before.

Still no codes.

Still will *eventually* come out of it and run fine.

New TPS is coming in the mail on Wednesday, but it may be some time before I can get it installed.

I'm thinking TPS, maybe CKP if the TPS doesn't fix it.

Any other ideas?

If you were feeling really froggy, swap the injectors from side to side....... The passenger side bank being nice and white is NOT a good sign.
