Crank position sensor, or coil. What brand new ones did you get?

Check and see that you are getting 12 volts at the coil while cranking.

If that's ok, hook one end of the test light to the positive battery terminal, and poke the other into the ground side of the coil connector. See if the light flashes.

It was the fuel pump. I changed out the old fuel pump that had 9K miles on it. *smh* The truck runs fine.

Now that you have a PCM, you need to have it flashed to your vehicle vin #
Iv had to have new, and used ones flashed in the past. Call a dodge dealer and ask them.
Just a thought.

I'm using the old PCM, moparadict. It was the fuel pump. That was the culprit. The truck has ran fine for 700+ miles now. No hiccups, nothing.

Hmmm. Good to see its all fixed up. Sucks that the newer pump caused all this trouble though.
I'm having troubles with my 2000 now... Lol, last time out, all good cold, and starts to bog once warm... Misfires through intake if pushed, then clears up ? Quick check plenum is o.k. Coil fine..... Maybe I'll need a pump soon too. I gotta connect a fuel test to it and drive around some.
