Default 1997 1500 5.9 360 having shifting issues

I bought my 97 4x2 front a friend who pulled the trans. There is now a wire hanging from the top of the transmission. I'm having trouble, the automatic trans has problems shifting between second and third, and downshifting after acceleration. I'm pulling up a torque converter solenoid code as well as a bank 5 02 sensor code. I've looked and felt around the entire trans trying to find where this wire plugs in to, because I'm pretty sure it's the source of the problem. Anyone have a clue of the location of this wire plug, or an accurate wiring diagram for my transmission?

It has 4 wires on it, it's a round male clip with 4 prongs on the inside.

Sounds like O2 sensor connector..... Do you have both (pre- and post-cat) and are they both hooked up?
