Okay guys I have been researching the heck out of a fastman throttle body. My dodge has the 5.2 in it and so far I have done 1.7 Harland sharps pacesetter headers, flow master 40 series exhaust and an SCT tune from Hemifever. Now I have read some people see a good bump with the 50mm throttle body for the 5.2, but for every good opinion I read a bad one. I have also read that the fastman modded throttle body will do no good unless you have an M1 air gap. I am just on the fence about getting one. Would it be worth the 265 or just save up some more and get the M1 and then get the fastman 50 mm throttle body.

Having said that, I've got the 50mm Fastman throttle body on my otherwise stock 5.2 engine. Can't say I really noticed a difference. Might fall under "can't hurt, might help".
1996 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 5.2/auto, Hemifever tuner, 50mm Fastman TB, Perma-lok front axle, Magnaflow muffler. 2" Skyjacker coils up front, Trail Master 2" long leaf add-a-leaf in the rear. 4.10 gears with Truetracs front and rear, Dick Cepek FC II 285/75/16" tires on 16x8" DC Torque rims. 200,000 plus miles on original engine.
I've run every TB made....From a Fastman on my 4.7 and 5.9, all the F&B TBs on my Dakota. For what it's worth...My Dakota is carbed and my Ram has an EBAY 50 TB...Unless you are going big, no reason to go to a Fastman or F&B, although some say the F&B kills a ported stocker which the Ebay and Fastman are.
